WTC Genoa, as the Executive Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Genoa, works to support SMEs in all phases concerning relocating their business or opening new offices in Genoa and supports Genoa CCI in the provision of services to SMEs.
The Chamber of Commerce of Genoa was founded in 1805 by Napoleon, making it one of the oldest in Italy, historically strongly committed to developing industry and infrastructure, as well as its work in culture and in technical and commercial training.
Today, the Chamber of Commerce is first and foremost the partner for about 80,000 companies across the province of Genoa that produce, transport and exchange goods and services, and for the trade and business associations that represent them. As from 1 February 2019, WTC Genoa’s internationalisation branch is now part of Promos Italia Scrl, an internationalisation agency owned by Italy’s Chambers of Commerce. This government agency offers assistance to Italian businesses entering the international market, and also works with official entities in developing local economies and communities.

Promos Italia offers information services, training and initial introduction and overview for SMEs preparing to expand internationally, from the strategy to set up a successful export business to arranging meetings with potential counterparts abroad.
